Put-in-Bay Bluegrass festival

This event is in it’s 5th year and is a family friendly Blue Grass Festival at Perry’s Victory Monument. Excellent music, entertainment, food, drink, and a cornhole tournament are some of the great activities to look forward to. Check back soon for featured bands as we receive more information!

“We are so excited to continue this great event at the National Park,” said Superintendent Barbara Fearon. “We are again collaborating with our partners to make this an event that is fun for the entire family”, she was quoted as saying. The National Park will open the festival grounds at 11 AM and the music will begin at 12 noon.

Refreshments and Comfort for the Music Festival

Both the food booths and the beverage tent will open at 11 AM. The Lake Erie Islands Historical Society will operate the festival’s beverage tent again this year with the bulk of the proceeds benefiting the Lake Erie Islands Historical Society Museum downtown.

The park encourages festival goers to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Limited seating for the music festival will be provided but there are tables and chairs inside the beverage tent as well as surrounding the tent. “This is just perfect,” one local resident said, “It’s a great time to gather with friends and family and enjoy good music while also enjoying the fun downtown Put-in-Bay bars and shopping”.

Festival goers can look forward to Italian sausage sandwiches, fries, gyros, lemonade, and ice cream during the festival. The Lake Erie Islands Historical Society sells beer, wine, soft drinks and water and provides festival volunteers and park staff with water and soft drinks during the event.
